The road north starts turning harder to traverse, crazily winding, with potholes growing in quantity, slopes getting steeper, the sun piercing ever more strongly into ourselves.

To think that in 2 months time, i'd have returned from thailand already.

But this week probably marks the start of the most challenging period of my life as a full-time national serviceman.

Alot more sweat, blood, soil, mozzies, lack of sleep, pimple outbreaks.

Lol.

Hopefully, i've already created a bond between my men and i, and i can draw strength and support from them in these telling times.

The end is near, yet so far. Very, very far.
